How The Commission Process Works
Commissions: Media & Pricing
I create bespoke commissions using professional oil or mixed media techniques. Base pricing starts at AUD 500 for oil paintings and AUD 350 for mixed media works. Final quotes are tailored to your project’s scale and complexity. Please note that a deposit is required to secure your booking and begin work.
1. Consultation
Please provide your vision, which can be a combination of ideas that I can use to create a bespoke, creative art work. Also include selected medium, dimensions, and colour palette. We will carefully review your inspiration to ensure a meaningful narrative.
2. Proposal & Fee
I will outline a creative vision and provide a formal quote with an estimated completion date.
3. Design Review & Approval
To ensure your absolute confidence, I provide preliminary concept notes or sketches for your review, solidifying our vision before creation.
4. Execution & Flow
I shall commence the creative process, providing periodic updates to ensure your vision remains the priority.
5. Finalise & Fulfil
Upon completion, you will receive professional images for final approval. The creative process typically spans 4–8 weeks; subsequently, we will coordinate secure transit, with shipping assessed individually.

How long does a typical commission take to complete?
Most commissions take 4–8 weeks, depending on the size and level of detail required for the piece.
How is the final price of a commission determined?
Final quotes depend on size, level of detail, and complexity. Oil paintings start from AUD 500, and mixed media pieces start from AUD 350.
Can I provide reference images for my commission?
Yes, I encourage sharing your ideas and any reference images. We’ll discuss the mood and story you’d like the artwork to hold during the initial inquiry.
Do you provide progress updates during the creation process?
Once creation begins, I may share one or two progress updates depending on the piece and your preference. I also send final photos for approval once complete.
